Bonus Points for JC Admission [2023]

Here are the conditions for obtaining Singapore-Cambridge GCE Ordinary Level (O-Level) bonus points for junior college (JC) admission in Singapore.

The bonus points apply to secondary school students who are taking the O-Level examination.

If you fulfill the conditions below, you deduct points from your O-Level gross (or raw) L1R5 aggregate score. The deduction takes place when you apply to JCs during the Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE).

How many bonus points for JC admission can you deduct from your O-Level gross (or raw) L1R5 aggregate score?

If you are not enrolled in a JC’s Language Elective Programme, you can deduct a maximum of 4 bonus points from your O-Level gross L1R5 aggregate score.

If you are enrolled in a JC’s Language Elective Programme, you can deduct a maximum of 6 bonus points from your gross L1R5 aggregate score.
